This morning, our students attended classes with their hosts. After a lunch in town, we headed out to the Catacombes. Coming up the métro seeing no line outside of the Catacombes, I was thrilled.... only to learn that it was closed due to ventilation issues.

We missed seeing these bones....

We strolled through this area and found a happy crêpe maker and many of us tried banana and chocolate! Yum! Others had fresh churros dipped in chocolate! Andrew, always hungry, also stopped at McDo for an extra lunch.
We rode the métro to the Jardin du Luxebourg where we visited the lovely grounds; I took many group photos but not with my own camera, but with the students.... so personal photos today will not be had; sorry.

Next, we walked past the Senate and headed towards the neo-classical church of St. Sulpice. Breathtaking.

Our walk continued and brought us to L'église St. Germain-dss-Prés; the oldest church in Paris, it is romanesque in style. The students really understood the differences between the architecture of this church and the St. Sulpice. Photo credit: parispolis.canalblog;com
We ended our south-east tour with a small stroll down the Blvd St. Germain
